4K without the guesswork
A 4× upscale is not automatically a 4K image. 4K usually means roughly 3840 horizontal pixels, while the exact result depends on the source size and aspect ratio.
Dimension formula
output width = input width × factor · output height = input height × factor
The output longest side cannot exceed 20,000px. A larger factor creates more pixels, not guaranteed factual detail.
Source-aware checks
The same model can behave differently on skin, packaging text, old scans, and flat illustration. Review the parts that matter for your use case.
Inspect skin, eyes, hair, jewelry, and repeated textures for a natural result rather than assuming a sharper preview is accurate.
Check packaging labels, small text, straight edges, brand marks, and color consistency before a listing or campaign goes live.
Upscaling can make a scan more usable at larger sizes, but it cannot recover historical detail that was never captured or repair severe physical damage.
Look closely at line art, character edges, flat color regions, and compression artifacts. This is a general Topaz model, not a dedicated anime model.
Practical outputs
Start from the final placement and calculate backward. The right factor is the smallest one that reaches the dimensions your layout needs.
Enlarge an undersized product image, then verify labels and surfaces before placing it in zoomable product media.
Prepare a small source for larger campaign frames, presentation screens, and high-density web placements.
Make an old logo, attachment, scan, or archived campaign image easier to reuse in a modern layout.
Reach a larger pixel canvas before checking physical size, DPI, viewing distance, and the printer's actual requirements.
A larger file can look cleaner without becoming a factual reconstruction. Treat the output as an edited image and inspect it at 100%.

Yes, when the source dimensions and chosen factor reach the target. For example, 960×540 at 4× or 1920×1080 at 2× produces 3840×2160. The workbench shows the exact result before you run.
Choose the smallest factor that reaches your required width and height. 2× usually suits a medium-size source; 4× suits a smaller source. A larger factor does not automatically make inferred detail more accurate.
Not reliably. The model reconstructs plausible visual detail from the source. It is not forensic recovery, so inspect faces, words, logos, product labels, and other factual elements.
Upload JPEG, PNG, or WebP up to 10MB, at least 32×32px, and no more than 8192px per side. The selected factor must keep the output longest side at or below 20,000px.
The price depends on the source longest side: 10 credits up to 2K, 20 credits up to 4K, and 40 credits up to 8K. The exact price is shown before the button is enabled, and failed tasks are refunded.
